Anthony courageously served our Country twice in both the Army and the Navy. He loved the military and successfully rose to the rank of Lieutenant.
Anthony was preceded in death by his beloved wife Lorraine. Anthony and Lorraine (Tony and Lori) were deeply in love and completely devoted to each other for over 44 years.
They each adored dogs. Throughout their life together they had a total of 4 Yorkshire Terriers, all of whom were lovingly spoiled and treated like children.
Tony and Lori were very involved with Guide Dogs for the Blind in Boring, OR. They spent hundreds of hours during their marriage traveling between Olympia, WA and Oregon to volunteer and help train the little “Guide Dogs to be” when the dogs were still just puppies. Both Tony and Lori seemed to be fulfilled by the knowledge that their charitable work would ultimately make the lives of countless sightless people both easier and safer.
Their other passion was food and cooking. Tony and Lori alternately enjoyed the area’s finest restaurants as well as cooking together in their home. They were always in search of yet another new recipe.
The Loved Ones they left behind will miss both of them; but are comforted by knowing that Lori and Tony are once again healthy, whole and at peace together in Heaven.
