I would like to express my condolences to Clark's family. I worked with Clark at the plywood mill in Shelton. We both worked in the maintenance department. Before I knew Clark he was one of the millwrights. He then accepted the job of forklift mechanic. At that time the company was rotating out the older machines by purchasing new ones. Clark was keeping up quite well. A different management style changed things. It was rare when the company would purchase any new forklifts. Clark kept all of the old rolling stock operating far beyond when it should have been in the junkyard. His mechanical abilities were admired by all. One of my favorite memories was on Clark's birthday. He was nearing retirement and his beautiful daughter brought a cake to the shop for Clark to share with the crew. He was so proud of her and it was nice to share his joy. After Clark retired I hired him to be a "DJ" at my sons wedding. My kids loved him and Clark was having the time of his life. I am glad I knew Clark and remember him fondly. Bruce Larson
