Cynthia Ann Dalebout

Cynthia Ann Dalebout, 81 of Lacey WA passed away peacefully on February 11th, 2026, surrounded by her family. Cynthia was born on December 9th, 1944, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was the eldest of eight children.

Cynthia left home by train to California where she met the love of her Life Daryl Dalebout. They were married on September 18th, 1965, in the Grace Memorial Episcopalian Church in Wabasha Minnesota with all her family present.

Cynthia had various jobs to include bank teller, sears, a certified nurse’s assistant, the epidemiology unit of the Mayo Clinic, and the Washington State Labor and Industries where she retired after more than 30 years of service.

Cynthia spent much of her time in retirement volunteering at Group Health / Kaiser.

Her hobbies included scrapbooking, knitting, cross stitching , macramé chairs, making beautiful handmade cards and going to holiday bazaars with her daughters. She was the most amazing mother to her 4 children and 6 grandchildren spending most of her free time watching them play their various sporting events to include dance recitals in Utah and swim meets in Canada. She was blessed with two Great Grandchildren who loved to visit with her, work on puzzles together, and read books.

Cynthia is survived by her husband Daryl and three of her four children Cindy, Catherine (Dan), Derreck (Nicole), her daughter in Law Tammy, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Laverne and Kathryn Mathias and her son Donald Lee.
