Dale loved working in the outdoors. He was a walking letter carrier in Olympia’s South Capitol Neighborhood and downtown Olympia where he knew most of his customers by name. After 35 years with the US Post Office, he retired and started a lawn mowing business and volunteered with the Boy Scouts and local Lions Clubs.
He is survived by his wife (Gail); three children- Kathleen Clark (Mark), Doug Tracy (Sherry), and Karen White (Sydney); four grandchildren – Shannon Duke (Dustin), Chris Tracy (Ashley), Nathan Clark, and Rachel Clark; and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at the United Churches on December 29, 2015 at noon. In honor of Dale’s life, donations can be made to the United Churches of Olympia.
