~ A message from the family ~
"Our Dad was an amazing man. He loved to hunt, fish, camp, he loved the beach, his garden... and anything outdoors! He also loved making pickles (hot ones!), salsa, and the best jerky ever! Dad was a big teaser, but his heart was tender and kind. He was a hard worker and could do and fix most anything. He loved and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Thank you all so much for being an important part of Dad's life. We know by his stories how much you all meant to him."
~ In Loving Memory of Garry Robert Tiede ~
"Think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched,
For nothing loved is ever lost - And he was loved so much!"

Letting Go
"The Angels gathered near your side, so very close to you.
For they knew the pain and suffering that you were going through.
I thought about so many things, as I hold tightly to your hand.
Oh how I wished that you were strong, and healthy once again.
But your eyes were looking homeward, to that place beyond the sky.
Where Jesus held his outstretched arms, it was time to say goodbye.
I struggled with my selfish thoughts, for I wanted you to stay.
So we could sit and talk again, like we did just yesterday.
But Jesus knew the answer, and I knew you loved him so.
So, I gave to you the greatest gift - The gift of letting go"

My Hero
"You held my hand when I was small. You're the hero of my childhood, and my later years as well. And every time I think of you, my heart still fills with pride. Though I'll always miss you Dad, I know you're by my side. In laughter and in sorrow, in sunshine and through rain. I know God's watching over you, until we meet again"
