

Harold J. Bach of Tenino, Washington, was born on June 8th, 1930 in North Hollywood, California, went to be with the Lord on July 31st, 2016. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Emily Frederich and Louis Bach, his wife, Virginia Vanderzee and his sister, Virginia Brann. He is survived by his sister, Joan Clark of Grants Pass, Oregon, his daughter Pennie Kanke (Joe) of Tenino, Washington, his son Russell Bach (Linda) of Vancouver, Washington, his adopted son and daughter Richard and Beverly Drew, grandchildren Jan Diehl (Bill), Jeri Goetschel (Dave), Travis Bach and Shana Bach, great grandchildren Chad Fredericks (Heather), Justin Fredericks and DJ Goetschel, great-great grandchildren Charlotte Fredericks, caretaker and friend, Brenda Brown whom he loved dearly and numerous other extended family members. Harold worked alongside his father as a carpenter and then turned his skills to a machinist until retirement in 1993. Harold served in the US Navy from 1949 to 1951, where he developed a lifetime love of all aircrafts.
His hobbies included woodworking with which he blessed his family with many wonderful gifts. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and attended First Baptist Church in Tenino, Washington until health issues kept him at home. His passions were spending time with his family, as well as his pets, camping, fishing, and being outdoors. Harold had "packed his bags and pictures of his family" and was ready to re-join his wife of 57 years in glory land. He will be greatly missed. A special thanks to the hospice team who provided such loving care and comfort to him and his family throughout these final moments.
Service will be held at Mills & Mills Funeral Home, 5725 Littlerock Rd SW, Tumwater WA 98512, this Monday, August 8th, 2016 with a viewing at noon, service to follow at 1pm and reception afterwards.
