

Hayden was the husband of Halie (Snaza) Brackenbury and beloved father of Henry, Paisley, and Delainey. He is mourned by them, along with his parents, siblings, grandparents, and many, many family and friends.
Hayden graduated from Olympia High School and attended Columbia Basin College and Skagit Valley College. He loved playing baseball and golf. Hayden had a special affinity for the Boston Red Sox, and traveled to Boston to take in a home game at Fenway Park and view the Green Monster up close.
He was a talented artist. Combining his artistry with a career in landscape design and construction, he created a number of beautiful hardscape projects throughout Thurston County.
Hayden loved his family and was well known as a kind-hearted and generous person. He was an excellent big brother to Cedric, Ava and Lilly. He was a loving and deeply beloved son. He was a good husband and devoted father. He was a good man.
Hayden loved animals and often had a menagerie of pets. Clara and Zoey, Vlad and Grizzly, Rhu and Murphy. The bunnies. His dream was to have an animal sanctuary in a quiet rural area so he could provide a good home to them all.
Hayden was baptized at St. Mark Lutheran Church, where he attended until he graduated and left home. He is remembered and loved by many members of his church community.
A memorial service for Hayden will be held Sunday, August 17th at the Olympia Country & Golf Club from 1pm-4pm. A space memorial will commence in early 2026.
