Herbert L. Donner Jr, age 86, passed away October 19, 2019 at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. Herb was born January 10, 1933 in Taylor County, Wisconsin to Janett (Miller) Donner and Herbert L. Donner Sr.

Herb attended schools in Chippewa County and graduated from Augusta High School, Wisconsin in 1950. He moved to the Chehalis, Washington area where he met June Jennings. They married in 1953 in Chehalis, WA and was married for 63 years until June passed away in January of 2017. They had two sons, Vincent and Randall.

Herb worked for The Weyerhaeuser Corporation for 10 years, and then for the Washington State Department of Transportation for 32 years before retiring in 1995.

Herb is survived by his sons, Randy (Trudy) Donner and Vince (Ginnie) Donner; grandsons Eric (Tiffani) Donner and Brian Donner; granddaughters Sherry (Jeremy) Porter and Angie (Jake) Budge, and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife June; sisters Violet, Pearl, and Freda; and brothers Jess, Leon, and Robert.

Private services will be held at Mill & Mills Funeral Home at 5725 Littlerock Rd. SW, Tumwater, WA on October 25, 2019 at 1:00p.m. with viewing starting at noon.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity.
