My deepest sympathy to Eileen and all the family.  I worked with Joe at Boeing for several years on swing shift.  Joe, Tony and I would frequently have lunch in South Park at a Mexican restaurant.  Joe would always say,  "You can spend five dollars here on a meal and not go out the door hungry."  We always had great times working on the flight line in all kinds of inclement weather.  Joe was always very conscientious when working on aircraft, and brought attention to anything that looked questionable. He did, however, have a lot of fun telling stories and joking around a bit.  I will never forget the one about the missing firewood.  (No further comment on that one.)  Joe was my friend and I will truly miss him.  May the peace of Our Lord be with him and with all of you. EVERY YEAR A PACKAGE WOULD ARRIVE AT OUR HOME..MANY YEARS AGO I MENTIONED THAT I ENJOYED EATING SALMON,LO AND BEHOLD THAT PACKAGE CONTAINED A COUPLE OF POUNDS OF THAT VERY SAME FISH WHICH MY HUSBAND AND I ENJOYED EVERY YEAR..COUNSIN JOE WAS A KIND,CONSIDERATE,CARING MAN WHO WE WILL MISS VERY MUCH. AS A YOUNG CHILD I RECALL THE FUN TRIPS IN THE MOUNTAINS OF WASHINGTON. So sad to hear that Joe has passed.  I really enjoyed talking to him on the phone and reminicing about the old times. Had I known that it would be our last conversation about a month ago, I would have kept him on the phone longer. I will truly miss him. I know that Joe loved his family. We had so much fun camping out, fishing, going to the cabin, and rodeos. You all were very good to us.
