

Marjo played softball from early teens until the age of 40. Her teams attended three World Championships. In 1954 tournament in Toronto, Canada she was world batting champion with a .500 batting average. She was on the tennis teams in high school and college and bowled many years. She was a member of the Red Tail (Previously Progress Downs) Golf Club for over 50 years. She was club champion eight times, the latest when she was 80. She had a hole-in-one while vacationing in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. When she was not playing golf, she was watching it on TV. She was an avid fan of the Seattle Mariners, Seattle Seahawks and University of Washington Huskies.
She was preceded in death by her parents Homer and Mabel Grant, brother Don, nephew Doug, brother-in-law Tom and her best friend Estelle.
She is survived by sisters; Judy, Cheri (Sue) Kim (Deb) sister-in-law Mickey (Dale) 3 nephews, 8 great nieces and nephews, 13 great-great nieces and nephews.
She was always close with family and friends and shared her stained glass pieces, painted rocks and birdhouses with them. She will be missed by so many.
