

Roberta “Bobbie” Jean McNeil passed away after a brave battle with leukemia on April 3, 2013 in Tenino, Washington. Roberta’s final days were spent in her home among the comfort of family and friends, and lots of love and laughter. Roberta was born on May 3, 1948 in Olympia, Washington to Bernard Charles Seeley and Florence Lucille Dutcher. She was one of two children, sister to Robert Seeley.
Roberta married Charles Andrew McNeil in Seattle Washington and together they had one daughter, Amy. Roberta graduated from Chief Sealth High School in Seattle, Washington and went on to Centralia Community College to pursue her degree in nursing. She worked at Steck Medical Clinic, Pioneer Family Practice and Gastrointestinal Associates in Olympia, Washington. She also spent time as a bus driver in Tenino, Washington.
Roberta loved the simple life and her home in the Skookumchuck Valley. She moved there in 1980 and loved the “country life” that she experienced in Tenino. Roberta loved to share memories of her parents with her family, and enjoyed being surrounded by her family and friends. She also had a deep love for Boston Terriers. Roberta’s favorite quote was “Because I can.”
Roberta is survived by her Daughter Amy McNeil, her granddaughter Makella and grandson Ryley, all of Lacey, Washington. She is also survived by her brother Robert Seeley of Lacey, Washington. Roberta was predeceased by her husband Charles Andrew McNeil.
A Graveside Service will be held on April 28, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Grove Cemetery in Tenino, Washington. Arrangements are under the care of Mills & Mills Funeral Home in Tumwater, Washington.
