

William (Bill) passed away in his home on Jan. 11, 2013, with his family by his bedside. Bill was born to Russell and Marie Feil in St. Louis, Mo. on July 14, 1928, the third of four sons.
At the age of 17 Bill joined the Navy and served 4 years. During that time he became one of the “Guinea Pigs” at the Kwajalein, Marshall Islands, serving on the USS Haven.
Upon leaving the Navy, Bill started laying hard wood flooring and eventually became the proud owner of Hull Floor Co. in Lakewood, Wa., retiring at the age of 65.
After retiring, Bill and his wife Ruth traveled extensively throughout the United States in their motor home. One of their favorite areas was the Coachella Valley in Ca. where they eventually spent many winter seasons.
Bill has been preceded in death by his parents and three brothers. He is survived by his wife, Ruth, his three sons, Thomas (Glenda) in Orlando, Fl., Gerald (Lori) in Lakewood, Wa., and Myron in Las Vegas, Nv., and two step sons, Kevin Siring (Lauren) in Pacific Grove, Ca. and Eric Siring in Puyallup, Wa. plus many grand and great grand children.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The family asks that in lieu of flowers a memorial donation can be made in Bill’s name to the Veterans Relief Program thru the VFW, Post 318 in Olympia, Wa.
