Alvaro Borges Toledo

Mr. Alvaro Borges Toledo passed away peacefully surrounded by his family Thursday, May 2016 at Modesto Medical Center, in Modesto California. He was 71 years old and was a native of Fontinhas, Terceira, Azores. Alvaro Borges Toledo is survived by his wife Maria de Lourdes Toledo of Turlock. Sons- Frank B. Toledo and wife Susanna of Hughson, Michael M. Toledo and wife Stephanie of Modesto, Daughter- Nilza Borba and husband Tony of Ceres. 5 Grandchildren-Jaden Borba, Isabella Toledo, Ezekiel Toledo, Jacob Toledo, Mateo Toledo. Brothers- Manuel Toledo and wife Maria de Lourdes of Livingston, Dimas Toledo and wife Mary of Turlock, Adelino Toledo and wife Matilde of Hilmar. Sisters- Maria F. Oliveira and husband Ramiro of Turlock, Envangelina Arruda and husband Carlos of Livingston. Brothers-in-Law- Jose M. Borba and Manuel M. Borba of Terceira Azores and a Sister-in-Law of Canada. Nephews and cousins of Terceira, Azores. Mr. Toledo was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, and was preceded in death by his Parents- Alvaro and Elvira Toledo.

Services: Visitation- 2:00 to 8:00 Pm, Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Service, 286 w. Main St., Turlock, California.

Combined Service of Rosary and Funeral Mass- 10:00 AM, Friday June 3, 2016 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church 2602 S. Walnut Rd., Turlock, California. Mr. Alvaro Borges Toledo will be laid to repose at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 N. Soderquist Rd. Turlock, CA.
