Andres Peña

Our dad Andres Peña went to heaven peacefully with family at his side Saturday December 10, 2016 in Turlock, CA. He was a native of Tomenil. Durango, Mexico, one of 15 children, he was 96 years old. Dad was a caring loving man always putting his family's needs first. He had an endless love for his wife Amelia & grandchildren. He worked at banquet foods for 23 yrs, loved boxing, Oakland A's, the Raiders, & la accordion.

Mr. Peña is survived by his 2 Sons- Andrew Peña (Maria) of Turlock, Frank Peña, ( Lisa) of Hughson. 2 Brothers- Fidel Peña & Eldiodoro Peña of So Cal., 2 Sisters- Gumercinda Peña and Eva Peña both of LA. 3- Grandchildren- Andrew Peña, Jr., Christie Peña, Sophia Peña & many nieces & nephews.

Dad was a devoted parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Turlock and he is preceded in death by his wife Amelia Peña & Son- George Peña.

Services: Visitation- 2:00 to 8:00 PM, Vigil & Rosary-7:00 PM Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Whitehurst-Norton –Dias Funeral Service, 286 W. Main St., Turlock, Ca.Funeral Mass- 11:30 AM, Monday, December 19, 2016, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1200 Lyons Ave., Turlock. Mr. Andres Peña will be laid to rest at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock, California.
