Helen D Carter

Helen D. Carter was given the gift of life by Arthur and Rosie Carter on December 10, 1938 in Dermott Arkansas. Helen accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at young age. She grew up with her parents and siblings in Dermott Arkansas, until she moved to California at the age 21 with her two siblings Rosie Jordan and Howard Jordan in 1961. Helen was a very devoted mother and a hard worker. She graduated from De Anza College with a certificate for CNA. She worked in the nursing field for over 35 years until she began working at Stanford Hospital until she retired after 15 years.

She leaves to cherish her memories a daughter Rosie Jordan of East of Palo Alto, CA, and a son Howard Jordan a daughter-in-law La'Zette Jordan of Stockton, CA.Two sisters Her twin Mildred Carter Moore, and Peggy Davidson of Las Vegas, NV. Two Brothers- RT Carter and Bobby Carter, both of Las Vegas, NV. Six grandchildren MyKisha, Jeremy, Trinity, LeMar, Brittany, Markell and 2 Great Grandchildren Omaria Sepher and Helen Rose Jordan.

Helen was Preceded in Death by her Parents- Arthur and Rosie Carter, four Sisters- Flora Lee Sims, Twins Ruby White and Ruth Manor, and Thelma Carter. Two Brothers- Arthur Carter, and MC Carter.

Services: Visitation-3:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday, February 2, 2015 at Redwood Chapel, 847 Woodside Rd., Redwood City, CA. Funeral Service- 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at New Sweet Home, 2170 Capitol Ave., East Palo Alto, CA.Graveside Service- 2:00 PM,Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at Lakewood Memorial Park, 900 Santa Fe Ave., Hughson, CA.
