Joe E. Silveira

At age 66 passed away at his residence in Hilmar, California.

He Was born in Cedros, Faial, Azores.

He was a truck driver for 42 yearsand also a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church of Hilmar, P.F.S.A, Council #26 of Hilmar/ Stevinson/ Turlock, Teamster #63 of Los Angeles,California and a Veteran of Vietnam War.

He enjoyed camping, Fishing, Gardening, and being a handyman. And the most important of all spending time with his family and friends.

His survivors are; his wife of 41 years Evelyn R. Silveira, his two sons;

Mark Silveira and his wife Patricia, and Tim Silveira both from Hilmar. His Sisters; Mary Lou Laranjo and her husband Joe of Corcoran, California. Linda Andrade and her husband Manuel of Hilmar.

3 Grandchildren; Mark, jr., Cassandra and matthew Silveira all from Hilmar.

Joe was Preceded in Death by his parents; Manuel and Rosa Silveira, and his Godson Gilbert Silveira.

Vigil & Rosary, 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 22, 2010, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Hilmar, California

Service Mass, 10:00 A.M. Thursday, September 23, 2010, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Hilmar, California

Burial will be at North Hilmar District Cemetery, Hilmar, California
