"On June 12th we were hit hard with the devastating news that our daddy had passed away. John was born December 8, 1975 in California to J.D. Reed and Suzan Harmon.
He was very mechanically inclined and worked in towing until he got injured. After that, he collected Boy Scout patches. John’s other hobby was locksmithing, being mechanically minded he loved figuring out how they worked. When he was married to Cathleen they loved going to the outdoors and camping. John had a love for firearms and generally just loved life.
John is survived by; son Christopher Shewmard (Brittany); son Brandon Proctor (Kasandra) of Delhi; son Joshua Proctor (Courtney) of Napa; and daughter Angela Weathers (Tyrone) of Louisiana; brother Jason Curtis Reed of Chowchilla and sister Jennifer Dela Rios (Jose) of Vallejo; nephew Nathanyl, nephew Ezra Dela Rios, grandchild Micah, grandchild Little John, grandchild Ava and grandchild Zaiden.
He was preceded in death by his wife Cathleen Reed, they were married from 1997 to 2011. Also, his niece Katherine Kennedy in 1996.
Services for John H. Reed are in the care of Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service (FD 504) in Turlock, California.
