 I want to share a memory of my brother when we were just children. One day I went to the small market up the street from my house in San Francisco with John. Two of John's friends also came with us, and the 5 year old brother of one of them too. One of his friends carried a camera to take pictures of the group when we got back to our house.
  We would go to that market once in a while to get gum or candy. John liked to get the bubble gum pack that had baseball player cards enclosed. I was so excited to go there with my big brother. Always loved spending time with him, when he would allow his younger sister to take part in what he was doing. It was fun for me.
  Well we made the trip to the store and got back to our house, chewing on gum and they were swapping some stories outside the house, laughing and having a good time. Then John and the friend who had a little brother, the same age as me, got an  idea for me and his kid brother Tony to kiss and hug for a cute picture!  At first Tony and I refused, because I was shy and so was Tony. Every girl knew at that age that boys had germs, and boys thought it was the girls who had them.
 Then Tony and I  decided to pose for a couple of pictures. We were both brave, weren't we? But it made our big brothers happy!  After all, they were all snapping pictures together with the camera and it looked like tons of fun!  So Tony and I made the big decision of our life to hug, and that wasn't too bad. Then we did a quick kiss for the camera and even that wasn't so bad as we thought either. We survived it and somehow lived !   LOL   I still have those pictures to this day!  That was my very FIRST KISS AND HUG  from a boy;  A first milestone for me, thanks to my big brother John and his friends.  Those pictures became such a favorite memory for me  and John to look back on through the years.
