As a young veterinarian, Joe was my first client when I moved to California.    His strong faith, love and commitment  to family,  dedication and care of his animals, and pride in all of his and his families accomplishments  were an inspiration to me and many others.  I loved the stories he told of his life from the early days in Canada, to his marriage, starting the dairy and moving to California.  He frequently talked about how proud he was of the boys, their families, and their accomplishments.  Joe was a mountain of a man in my eyes.  He was someone to look up to.  When I reflect on his life, it was a life of joy, hard work, building a legacy, and especially love of faith and family.  What a journey you had Joe!  We will miss you, but the impact of your life will continue to influence many for generations to come.

The memories I have of my uncle Jose is not so much of mind, were in my thoughts I remember an event with him, my memories is more on an emotional spiritual, the feeling of his prescience his gift of Calm and his giving of his Love by hugging and kissing  my cheek whenever we met and I greeted him traditionally. But the love was not only expressed through these action but through his eyes and what they expressed which was an energy of his essence of Love, Care and Empathy a True genuine concern for my wellbeing. This is the gift I carry as memory. He leaves behind a lifetime of himself in his Wife my beautiful strong aunt and his Sons my inspirational cousins. Love you all more then can be imagine. RIP Uncle Joe.

Mr. Homen and his family have been customers of mine for YEARS.  It was always a pleasure to have Mr. Homen come in the store and have the privilege to help him.  Mr. Homen was always a soft spoken gentleman and our conversations always left me with a smile on my face.  We are left with great memories of Mr. Homen to share and my prayers are for the family and friends.  May God Bless you and keep you.
