Jose Avila Ramos, age 77, of Turlock, California passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020. Jose was born August 13, 1943 in Santo Antao Topo, Sao Jorge, Azores to Palmira (Avila) Ramos and Antonio F. Ramos.
Jose is survived by daughter Alice Comstock (Eric); brother Manuel Ramos of Brasil, brother Luis Ramos of Hilmar, brothers Antonio Ramos, Jaime Ramos and Angelo Ramos all of San Jose, brother Isidro Ramos of Napa, sisters Noemia Vieira and Clarinha Machado both of Turlock, sister Alice DaSilva of San Jose and sister Albertina Melo of Sao Jorge; grandchildren Bailey Comstock and Benjamin Comstock.
Jose was a FDES president in Patterson from 1992 to 1993.
Jose was preceded in death by his wife Cecilia Gloria Ramos; son David Joe Ramos; father Antonio F. Ramos and mother Palmira (Avila) Ramos.
There will be a visitation from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service in Turlock, California.

A Recitation of Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 28, 2020 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 2602 South Walnut Road, Turlock, California.

A burial for Jose will be held Monday, December 28, 2020 at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 N Soderquist Ave, Turlock, California 95380-3749.
