Jovita M Martinez

Mrs. Jovita Martinez “Entered into Rest” on Saturday, March 30th at the age of 96 with her family by her side. She was born in Chupadero, Michoacan, Mexico, a homemaker for 64 years and has lived in Turlock and Ceres, CA for the past 17 years. Mrs. Martinez is survived by: Two Sons, Manuel Garcia of Mexico and Eudoro Garcia and his wife Lucia of Menlo Park, CA. One daughter, Josefa Cervantes and her husband Nabor of Ceres, CA and two brothers, Natividad Martinez and his wife Cristina of San Jose, CA Ten Grandchildren and Seventeen Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Antonio Garcia and three brothers, Emiliano Martinez, Francisco Martinez and Sotero Martinez.

Visitation will be held at the Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel, 286 W. Main St., Turlock on Thursday, April 4, 2013 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 5th at 9:00 a.m. at St. Jude Catholic Church, 3824 Mitchell Rd., Ceres. Interment following the Mass at Skylawn Memorial Park, Hwy 92 and Skylawn Blvd., San Mateo, CA.
