Judith Gail Rohr

A long-time resident of the Monterey Peninsula and the Central Valley, Judi graduated Monterey High School in 1954 and went on to graduate Stephens College in Missouri in 1956.

In the late 80s, she moved to the Central Valley of California where she began a 24-year career as a Senior Credit Analyst with Foster Farms Poultry, retiring in 2012.

Judi was a lifelong member of the American Quarter Horse Association and an avid lover of animals, especially horses and dogs. She rescued many dogs, cared for barn cats, and lived on a ranch with donkeys, goats, and horses.

Judi enjoyed volunteering for the Special Olympics and participating in the Relay for Life.

She was a steadfast supporter of her children and grandchildren and spoiled all. She could often be seen at her daughter Cindy’s horse shows and barrel races and son Matt’s motorcycle and boat races.

Judi loved to travel. She visited Hawaii, cruised the Caribbean and Mexico, and enjoyed a Delta Queen River Cruise. She attended the Breeders Cup twice and the Kentucky Derby. She traveled by motorhome to visit Yellowstone, The Grand Tetons, Mt. Rushmore and Jackson Hole as well as many other sights during a two-week National Park adventure.

Judi was a fabulous cook, hostess, and gardener.

She is survived by her children Cindy Rohr, Ronnie Rohr and Pam Rohr. Grandchildren Alec Rohr, Geena Rohr, Randy Rohr, Richelle Rohr, Matthew Rohr and Mason Rohr.

Judi was preceded in death by her son Matthew Clay Rohr.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Diamond Bar Arena, 6055 Central Avenue, Ceres, CA 95307

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society, The American Heart Association or Monterey County SPCA.
