Lela Marie Gonzalez

Lela Marie Gonzalez, age 24 passed away unexpectedly at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto, on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. Lela was born in Modesto, California to Angela Marie and Daniel Wayne Creekmore.

Lela was a devoted mother to three beautiful daughters, who were her proudest accomplishments and brought immense joy to her life.

Known for her sharp wit and sarcasm, Lela had a vibrant personality that lit up any room. She had a passion for barbecuing, often-gathering friends and family for delicious meals. Lela enjoyed spending time at the beach and the lake, where she created lasting memories with her loved ones. A talented athlete, she excelled in softball, particularly as a skilled pitcher, and loved the camaraderie of playing bingo.

Lela is survived by her devoted husband, Alfredo Gonzalez Casillas, and their three beloved daughters, Rosalina Paige, Violet Jayline, and Liliana Grace. Lela was the beloved daughter of Daniel Wayne Creekmore and Angela Marie Creekmore. She is also survived by her loving in-laws, Guadalupe and Jose Gonzalez, and her brothers Edward Wayne Creekmore (Kirsten), Bobby Dean Creekmore (Hannah), and Daniel Joseph Creekmore (Sophia). Additionally, Lela leaves behind her brothers-in-law, Jorge Casillas and Oscar Gonzalez, and her maternal grandmother, Susan Martino (Dennis).

Lela is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Barry Arlin Creekmore, her maternal grandparents, Judy Gayle Junell and Thomas Leroy Junell along with her brother-in-law Ernesto Gonzalez.

Lela's spirit and love for life will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who remember her for her laughter, strength, and unwavering love.
