Mr. Manuel M. Barros passed away peacefully in Turlock, California on Tuesday January 10, 2017. He was 94 years old and was a native of Biscoitos, Calheta, São Jorge, Azores, and lived in Hilmar for 46 years. Mr. Barros is survived by his only Daughter- Bernice Toste and her husband Joe Toste of Chico, California. Brother- Francisco Barros of Gilroy, Sister Julia Correia of San Jose.
Manuel M. Barros was preceded in death by his Wife- Delfina Barros, he also was a devoted parishioner of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church of Hilmar.
Services: Visitation- 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service 286 W. Main St., Turlock, California.
Combined Service of Rosary & Funeral Mass- 11:00 AM, Monday January 16, 2017 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 20263 American Ave., Hilmar, California.Mr. Barros will be laid to repose at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock, Ca.
