Maria is survived by: son Manuel Camara (Tracey) of Escalon; son Joe Camara (Karen) of Escalon; son Tony Camara (Kris) of Waterford; son Del Camara (Kris) of Escalon; daughter Gorrette Dobbins (Shane) of Escalon; brother João Hermano of Venezuela; sister Ines Camara of Porto Moniz, Madeira, Portugal; sister Madalena Hermano of Porto Moniz; sister Beatrice Hermano of South Africa; and sister Goretti Hermano of Venezuela. Mrs. Camara also leaves behind eighteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren to honor her memory.
She was preceded in death by her husband Antonio Camara and son John Camara as well as her parents.
Maria was a dedicated parishioner of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Ripon, California.
A recitation of the rosary for Mrs. Maria Paixao Camara will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church: 19399 CA-120, Ripon, California. The following day, a funeral mass will occur at 10:30 AM on Friday, September 6, 2019 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. She will be laid to rest after the services at St. John's Catholic Cemetery: 17871 Carrolton Road, Escalon, California.
Serving as pallbearers are Bryan Camara, Joey Camara, Justin Camara, Giovanni Camara, Michelle Camara, and Danielle Camara.
Services for Maria Paixao Camara are in the care of Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service (FD504) in Turlock, California.
