Maria Teresa Correia De Sousa

Maria Teresa Correia De Sousa, age 64, of Livingston, California passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018. Maria was born October 12, 1953 in Ponta do Sol, Madeira, Portugal to Teresa Ferreira and Daniel S Correia.

Maria is survived by: her husband of 24 years Jose A De Sousa of Livingston; sister Fernanda Oxford and her husband David of Hayward; sister Merces F Correia; sister Adelaide Aguilar and her husband Ramon of Atwater; brother Francisco I Correia and his wife Yolanda of Livingston; brother Antonio Correia and his wife Alison of Atwater; brother Jose Pedro Correia and his wife Eva of Atwater; and brother Manuel Correia of Port Huemene, California. Mrs. De Sousa also leaves behind many nieces and nephews to honor her memory.

Maria was preceded in death by: her parents Daniel S Correia and Teresa Ferreira, sister Lina Correia Aguilar, and sister Conceição Correia.

She was a dedicated member of St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church in Livingston. Mrs. De Sousa was a generous and kind person that participated in many charitable activities such as feeding the hungry, visiting the sick, and offering prayers for all the souls in purgatory.

A rosary followed by a funeral mass for Mrs. Maria Teresa Correia De Sousa will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 16, 2018 at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church: 330 Franci Street, Livingston, California. She will be laid to rest at Turlock Memorial Park: 575 N. Soderquist Road, Turlock, California.
