Maria De Jesus Jimenez Lopez, age 66, of Modesto, California passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2018. Maria was born December 8, 1951 in Michoacán, Mexico to Maria Vasquez and Cristova Jimenez.

Maria is survived by: her husband of 44 years Sergio Lopez Mendoza of Turlock; son Leonardo Lopez of Turlock; son Prescelino Lopez of Turlock; son Sergio Lopez Jr. of Mexico; daughter Olga Lopez of San Jose; daughter Maria Lopez of Turlock; and daughter Gisela Lopez of Modesto; mother Maria Vasquez of Mexico; brother Jose Maria Jimenez of Mexico; brother Antonio Jimenez of Mexico; sister Carmela Jimenez of Mexico; sister Rosa Jimenez of Mexico; and sister Maria Luisa Jimenez of San Jose. Mrs. Jimenez Lopez also leaves behind nine grandchildren to honor her memory.

She was preceded in death by her father Cristova Jimenez.

A visitation for Maria De Jesus Jimenez Lopez will be held from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service: 286 W. Main Street, Turlock, California. There will be a recitation of the rosary during the visitation at 7:00 PM.

A funeral service will occur at 12:00 PM on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church: 1200 Lyons Avenue, Turlock, California. She will be laid to rest on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at N. Hilmar Cemetery District: 8710 N. Tegner Road, Hilmar, California 95354.
