Maria Leonor Raposo, age 89, of Turlock, California passed away at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock, on Thursday, June 2, 2022. Maria was born September 16, 1932 in Urzelina, São Jorge, Açores to Isabel Ramos and Vasco Fereira da Silva.
Maria is survived by her son Vasco Raposo (Angie) of Turlock; and her daughter Maria Fatima Raposo also of Turlock; Maria also leaves behind her grandchildren, Kevin Goulart, Alexandria and Jared Raposo to honor her memory.
Maria was preceded in death by her husband, Norberto Raposo, her father Vasco Fereira da Silva and her mother Isabel Ramos; her brothers Luis da Silva, Manuel Fereira da Silva, Joáo da Silva and her sister Maria Adelaide De Ponte.
Maria was a member of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church in Turlock, California.
A visitation for Maria will be held Monday, June 13, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 West Main, Turlock, CA 95380.
A Rosary service will occur Monday, June 13, 2022 at 7:00 PM at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 West Main, Turlock, CA 95380.
A Graveside Service will occur Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 North Soderquist Road, Turlock, CA 95380.
Serving as pallbearers are Maria's Grandsons, Kevin Goulart and Jared Raposo.
