Maria Conceicão Rocha, age 87, of Turlock, California passed away at Emanuel Medical Center on Wednesday, February 16, 2022. Maria was born July 29, 1934 in Feteira, Terceira, Açores to Maria Conceicão Bettencourt and Jose Cardoso Ventura.
Maria is survived by her son Joe Ivo Rocha (Julieta) of Turlock; her sister Cizaltina Dinis Ventura of Brazil and her grandson Marcos P. Rocha of Turlock.
Maria was preceded in death by her spouse of 50 years, Jose Goncalves Rocha; her father Jose Cardoso Ventura and her mother Maria Conceicão Bettencourt.
Maria was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Turlock, California.
A visitation for Maria will be held Sunday, February 27, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 West Main, Turlock, CA 95380.
A Rosary service followed by a Funeral Mass will occur Monday, February 28, 2022 at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church- Lyons Ave., 1200 Lyons Avenue, Turlock, CA 95380.
A committal service will follow the Funeral Mass Monday, February 28, 2022 at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 North Soderquist Road, Turlock, CA 95380.
Serving as pallbearers are Ivo Rocha, Marcos Rocha, Alejandro Prieto, Frank Pimentel, Evo Machado and Joe Machado.
