Maria Da Conceição Rodrigues passed away peacefully at her home on April 3, 2026, at the age of 79, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 26, 1946, in Biscoitos, Terceira, Azores, Portugal, and was a longtime resident of Half Moon Bay, California.
Maria is survived by her husband of 62 years, Manuel C. Rodrigues; her children, Carlos Rodrigues and his wife, Angie, Lucy Costa and her husband, Luis, and Paulo Rodrigues and his wife, Karen; her brothers, Roberto Ourique and his wife, Paula, and Manuel Ourique and his wife, Fatima; and her cherished grandchildren, Brian Costa, Jennifer Costa, Stephanie Rodrigues Mata and her husband, Eulalio, Megan Rodrigues Moneda and her husband, Nathaniel, Justin Rodrigues, Austin Rodrigues, Rachel Rodrigues, Stacy Ourique, and Melanie Ourique. She was preceded in death by her father, Francisco Fernandes Ourique, and her mother, Delfina De Sousa Ourique.
Maria was a devoted member of Our Lady of the Pillar Catholic Church in Half Moon Bay, as well as I.D.E.S., Our Lady of Fatima, and P.C.C. She found great joy in her community and her faith.
Her family was the center of her life. She was the glue that held everyone together, always reminding her children of the importance of caring for one another. She loved her grandchildren deeply, helped raise them, and took great pride in each of them, they were truly her pride and joy.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Pillar Catholic Church, 400 Church St, Half Moon Bay, California 94019, followed by the Recitation of the Rosary and Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at the same location.
Committal Service at Holy Cross Our Lady of the Pillar Catholic Cemetery, 975 Miramontes St, Half Moon Bay, California 94019.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren: Brian Costa, Jennifer Costa, Stephanie Rodrigues Mata, Megan Rodrigues Moneda, Justin Rodrigues, Austin Rodrigues, Rachel Rodrigues, Stacy Ourique, and Melanie Ourique.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered in the hearts of those who love her.

A Sra. Rodrigues deixa de luto o seu marido casados há 62 anos, Manuel C. Rodrigues; os seus filhos, Carlos Rodrigues e a sua esposa Angie, Lucy Costa e o seu marido Luis, e Paulo Rodrigues e a sua esposa Karen; os seus irmãos, Roberto Ourique e a sua esposa Paula, e Manuel Ourique e a sua esposa Fátima; e os seus netos queridos, Brian Costa, Jennifer Costa, Stephanie Rodrigues Mata e o seu marido Eulálio, Megan Rodrigues Moneda e o seu marido Nathaniel, Justin Rodrigues, Austin Rodrigues, Rachel Rodrigues, Stacy Ourique e Melanie Ourique.
Foi precedida na morte pelo seu pai, Francisco Fernandes Ourique, e pela sua mãe, Delfina de Sousa Ourique.
A Sra. Rodrigues era membro da Igreja Católica de Nossa Senhora do Pilar, em Half Moon Bay, bem como do I.D.E.S., Nossa Senhora de Fátima e P.C.C. Encontrava grande alegria na sua comunidade e na sua fé.
A sua família era o centro da sua vida. Era o pilar que mantinha todos unidos, lembrando sempre aos seus filhos a importância de cuidarem uns dos outros. Amava profundamente os seus netos, ajudou a criá-los, e tinha um grande orgulho em cada um deles, eram verdadeiramente o seu maior tesouro.
A velório será na terça-feira, 14 de abril de 2026, às 9:30 da manhã, na Igreja Católica de Nossa Senhora do Pilar, 400 Church St, Half Moon Bay, Califórnia 94019, seguido pela Recitação do Terço e Missa de Corpo Presente às 10:00 da manhã no mesmo local.
O serviço de sepultamento será no Cemitério Católico de Nossa Senhora do Pilar de Holy Cross, 975 Miramontes St, Half Moon Bay, Califórnia 94019.
Os portadores do féretro serão os seus netos: Brian Costa, Jennifer Costa, Stephanie Rodrigues Mata, Megan Rodrigues Moneda, Justin Rodrigues, Austin Rodrigues, Rachel Rodrigues, Stacy Ourique e Melanie Ourique.
Será profundamente sentida e para sempre recordada nos corações de todos os que a amam.
