Beloved Son, Brother, Nephew and Cousin. Born and raised in Modesto, CA. He was a graduate of Modesto High School currently living in San Antonio, TX attending a trade school for welding.
He is survived by his Father John and his Mother Randi, his brothers Daniel and Robert, his Grandmother Millie Moffitt and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Steven’s passion was football, whether playing it or watching it. He began playing at age 8 and was the smallest player on the team, but that didn’t seem to bother him although it did prevent him from pushing through the line. One of his teammates wanted him to score a touchdown so badly that once when Steven was carrying the ball, his teammate picked him up and pushed him through the line so that he could score. Steven was beaming for days afterward. He continued playing football through high school and loved every minute of it. Steven loved the San Francisco Forty Niners, that was his team and he was very much a loyal fan. Even while living in ‘Cowboy Country”, he proudly wore the red and gold.
If there was anything he loved more than football, it was the well-being, happiness, and love of his family and friends, he had a heart of gold and was always helping someone fix their car or anything else they needed help with. Steven always had a smile on his face, but he loved making others smile even more, he had a great sense of humor and loved telling jokes. Steven was definitely a people person, he loved meeting new people and sharing stories and experiences with them. He was very charming and a natural salesman, something his mother thought should have been his profession. He loved children and they certainly loved him, “Uncle Steven” was always so much fun.
In remembrance of Steven’s life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to The Forever Young Foundation at https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/foreveryoungceres
