Wendell Gene Morris, age 84, of Hilmar, California passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023. Wendell was born in Downey, California to Lucille Alta Camp and Henry Oxford Morris.

Wendell is survived by his son Kenneth G. Morris of Atwater, California and his daughter Samantha R. Silva (Angelo) of Hilmar, California. He also leaves behind his five grandchildren Kyle A. Silva, Jessica R. Silva, Jonathan Johnson, Jamiroquai Johnson and Erica Robinson to honor his memory.

Wendell was preceded in death by his son Jerry Morris, his parents Henry Oxford Morris and Lucille Alta Morris. Wendell was also preceded in death by his siblings, Pam Owens and Jimmy Morris.

Wendell was a member of Oklahoma Cherokee Nation.

Wendell will be laid to rest at Sunnyside Cemetery in Stevinson, California.
