Annette O. Norris

Annette O. Norris, age 72, of Northport, Ala., died February 26, 2018, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 2, 2018, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Alan Roggli, Jerry Montgomery and Stewart Vail officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be Thursday, March 1, 2018, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Orville Oswalt (Edna), Darwin Oswalt and Leslie Oswalt; and sisters, Bama Butler and Reba Phillips (J.G.).

Survivors include her husband, Roy Norris; son, Daryl Barrett; grandchildren, Tanner and Brooke Barrett; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews; sister, Wista Hall (Ken); brother, David Oswalt (Carol); sisters-in-law, Martha Ann, Virginia, Carol and Dorothy; and brothers-in-law, David and Danny.

Everyone that comes to the funeral please wear casual wear only. Be as comfortable as I am please.

Pallbearers will be Tanner Barrett, Randy Butler, Dowell Phillips, Danny Robertson, Mike Pate, Kevin Hall and Michael Barrett.

Honorary pallbearers are nephews, doctors and nurses at Manderson Cancer Center, Dr. Ellison, Comfort Care Hospice staff and Hospice of West Alabama staff.
