COTTONDALE – Barbara C. Sansing, age 87, passed away December 27, 2020 at DCH Regional Medical Center. A cryptside service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel, a Dignity Memorial provider, directing.
Mrs. Sansing was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie G. Sansing; parents, Bessie and Floyd Colvin, Sr.; and brother, Floyd Colvin, Jr.
Left to cherish her memory is the son of her heart, Alphonso Duncan; niece, Joy Posey (Danny); nephew, Billey Sansing; and nieces in law, Susan Sansing and Glenda Sansing.
Barbara was born in Greene County, Ala. to Bessie and Floyd Colvin, Sr. She was a loving wife and homemaker to Charlie. Barbara had a caring heart and was faithful in making regular donations to local church ministries. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, and feeding the birds and wildlife.
Honorary pallbearers are Bill Collins, Jason Collins, Alphonso Duncan, and Jim Crowe.
