Betty was a special friend of mine.  Such a kind, gentle hearted lady.  Betty did so much for so many people but she gave "cheerfully" not expecting any recognition or anything in return. I will miss her but I am thankful she touched my life.  Linda Keene Creek-Tuscaloosa, Alabama

My grandmother and Betty's grandmother were sisters, according to family history as I remember it.  Betty and Bobbye were precious family as we grew up. She cared for the cemetery most lovingly where the Maughan family is buried.  Condolences to the family. Elsie Ruth Maughan

Danah and I are so sorry we didn't hear about Betty's passing in time to attend the memorial. Our condolences for your loss, and we will miss Betty.

Betty is a treasure. I so enjoyed working for her a short time.

Mrs. Banks was a close friend and mentor to me.  Her contributions to the Black Belt region can not be overstated, but most importantly, she had a heart of gold and silver too.

To the family of Betty Banks. I had the privilege of knowing Betty well. We were class mates at DCH. Had lots of fun with her. She was the hostess for our class reunion several years ago. I have kept up with her through my nephew Sam Watson at DCH. I pray that God will sustain u with His peace during this time of grief.

I will miss seeing Betty on my trips to Eutaw. Prayers to all her family and friends there.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise found in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring you some comfort. Knowing that there is a future for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
