Mrs. Nichols was my 7th grade English teacher at Brookwood High School. She made it one of my favorite subjects by her enthusiastic way of teaching. She had a quiet spirit but was a powerful instructor and woman who encouraged girls to be all they dreamed they could be. When someone asks me my favorite school teacher, she is always the first one that comes to mind. Prayers for your family at this time of sadness but know she is remembered fondly with love and admiration for the wonderful woman she was.

Mrs. Nichols was one of my favorite teachers. I learned so much from her English class, and from the example she set. She was a very sweet and kind lady.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Ms.Nichols. She was a great help to me as a young and struggling teacher. I will always remember the kindness, wisdom and patience she showed to me. May God bless all of you in this difficult time.

Mrs. Nichols was my 7th grade English teacher at Brookwood High School. It was a time of life that young people are coming of age and wondering what their life will be. Mrs. Nichols helped me answer that question. Growing up in a rural part of the county in the 60's and 70's, girls were not encouraged or expected to have ambitions except being a stay at home wife. She helped me see there was more. I watched how she taught with passion and leadership. I wanted to emulate her every move. She was a force. Because of her and a few others I did realize my dream to finish college and pursue my dreams. She has left many legacies, including a very fine family. We love you Mrs. Nichols.
