Buford Lee Faulkner Jr.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 12, 2026 at Memory Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Buford is preceded in death by his father, Buford Lee Faulkner Sr.; mother, Elsie Lovine Faulkner; best friend, Paul Burleson; 3 sisters, Peggy McCalard, Mary Burleson, Marie Haun.

He is survived by his spouse, Karen Dunn Faulkner; daughters, Misti Burnham (Kenneth), Brandi Blanken, Crystal Rose (Andrew), Holli Huffman (Alex), Katie Faulkner, Emily Faulkner (Andrew); son, Brandon Dunn; sisters, Karin Lane (Mike), Judy Phillips (Tim), Ann Koster (Johnny), Betty Jo Collins; 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.

Buford worked many years for Hattaway Bro. Construction. He loved spending time cooking, spending time with his family and friends and he loved Karen with his whole heart, along with his two dogs Pearl and Sissy Mae. Buford was the biggest Alabama fan (ROLL TIDE). He was loved by so many!

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Burnham, Courtney Fondren, Brandon Miller, Andrew Hendrix, Zane Dorris, Wayne Dunn, Alex Huffman.

Honorary pallbearers are Brandon Dunn.

A special thank you goes out to Karin and Mike Lane for covering the funeral expenses. Also a special thank you to his aunt Jackie Wooley for providing meals during this time. Last but not least, a special thank you to his daughter Misti Burnham for coming to help and comfort me in Lee's last days.

It's all about the Hammer Knocker (last laughing memories with him).
