COALING - Christopher “Chris” McCrory, age 27, of Coaling, Ala., died on November 12, 2017 at home. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Emmitt Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Cottondale with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pauline and Otis McCrory and J.B. Hatter.
He is survived by his wife, Brittnie McCrory; daughter, Jaylynn McCrory; sons, Christopher McCrory and Braiden McCrory; sister, Kim Kayden; brother, Jamey McCrory (Tonya); parents, Karen McCrory Simpson and James McCrory; and grandmother, Mildred Hatter.
Chris was a wonderful father. He loved all three of his children and was the type of person to go out of his way to help others. He was always outside, but loved to be at home. He loved being around family and friends. He will always be remembered and always be in our hearts.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
