Just wanted to leave a note to whomever reads this. Creighton was my first cousin and we talked by phone probably a year ago. I tried at that time to help him reunite with his family in south Alabama, but he chose not to. We had a very nice conversation, and although we had not seen each other in a long time, we realized we were family and there was that love still there. I wish we could have helped more. He came from a very fine family. His dad, Beamon, was one of my favorite uncles. Creighton and his sister, Lynda, were with their dad when he passed away years earlier. I do wish we could have helped him more.
