

Sue Snead (age 82) of Tuscaloosa passed away peacefully in her sleep Saturday, November 28th at Hospice of West Alabama. Her funeral will be graveside Tuesday, December 1st at 2pm, officiated by Dr. Donnie Payne at Memory Hill Gardens. Visitation will begin 1 hour before the service at Memory Chapel Funeral Home on Skyland Boulevard.
Preceded in death by her parents, Clem and Sarah Fair, her husband, Frank Snead, Sr., daughter, Dianne Snead Isbell, and son-in-law, Rick Jordan. Survivors include her children, Deborah Jordan, Hugh and Stacey Snead, her grandchildren, Cason and Amanda Jordan, Claire Mitchell, Claudia Mitchell, Morgan Snead, Abigail Mitchell, Emily Isbell, and great-granddaughter, Kayleigh Jordan. Additional survivors include her sister, Anne F. Davis, her niece, Andrea Davis-Hill, and great-nephew, Christopher Hill.
Pallbearers include Cason Jordan, Kyle Powell, Billy Hulgan, Steve Wise, Robert Camp, David Evers, Harold Appling, and Ben Chambliss. Honorary pallbearers include Claire Mitchell, Claudia Mitchell, Morgan Snead, Abigail Mitchell, and Emily Isbell.
Sue was a lifelong member of Forest Lake Baptist Church; therefore, in lieu of flowers, we are requesting donations be made to the church (107 18th Street Tuscaloosa, 35401) for Global Priority Missions. The family wishes to thank Dr. Keith DeBell, Dr. Debra Davis, Dr. Jeffrey Anderson, staff at Morning Pointe Assisted Living, and Hospice of West Alabama for their kindness and support of Sue and our family during this difficult time.
