Dale Mathew Lawrence died in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on March 20.  He was 86 years old.  Dale was originally from Iowa, where he grew up on his family's farm in Anamosa.  He served in the United States Navy during World War II.  After the war, he settled in Duluth, Mn and worked at the St. Louis County Sheriffs office as the head of the Warrant's Division.  Following retirement, he moved to Beaverton, Oregon with his wife, Margret.  
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Mike, Gilbert, Al, and Rick, and his wife, Margaret.  He is survived by his daughters Cynthia and Sondra Lawrence, his son-in-laws John Mason and David Martin,  his sisters Genevieve  Kula and Dorothy Jenson, and his beloved granddaughter, Keesha Aakriti Lawrence Mason.
