David "DayDay," born on August 1, 1974, was given to us as a special gift from Heaven. He brightened our lives in so many ways with his sweet, beautiful smile, gentleness, and strength. His love was strong, true, free, and ever enduring. He was a very loving and dedicated father and husband, and his world evolved around his children and wife. He was a great hunter and loved deer. He was a great tiller of the soil and grew beautiful gardens. His sense of humor enlightened us all; even during his fight for life, he kept us laughing and "happy, happy, happy," and he wanted his illness to bring his family together. We will miss our "fix all, handyman" and the Alabama games he so loved, but he now has a front row seat to all of the Alabama games, so Roll Tide Roll, Dave. He attended Northside High School and Shelton State Community College, where he was on the President's List for scholars. He loved our sweet Jesus with all his heart and he turned his life over to him and desired that we all do the same and keep the circle unbroken. Though our hearts are breaking we know David is in Heaven where no pain, death, tears, or disease can enter, and he is now able to dine with Jesus, Daddy, Ollie, Adam, and all the many other loved ones and friends who are waiting on us to join them. So until we meet again we will keep him and our memories close in our hearts. We love and miss you DayDay.
