Dewayne Bobo

Dewayne was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter Vernon Bobo Sr. and Eula Mae Bobo, John W. Hallman Sr. and Penina Mae Hallman; parents, Walter Vernon Bobo Jr. and Bennie Kate Bobo.

He is survived by his sisters, Deborah Roberts (Alan) and Denise Cobbs; brothers, Daryll Bobo (Elaine), Dalton Bobo (Magaria), and Pat Bailey (Rhenea); and several nieces and nephews.

Dewayne Vernon Bobo, born October 12, 1962, to Walter and Bennie Kate Bobo, passed away peacefully at Hospice of West Alabama on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

Dewayne's early years were filled with his joy of nature. He had a love of flower gardening, bird watching and was an avid deer hunter. He enjoyed spending time in his woodworking shop where he woodcrafted many treasured items for family and friends. Dewayne was a loving son, brother, and uncle. He faced many adversities in his later years as a result of cancer and treatments as a child, but he continued to have a sweet, loving spirit and will be missed terribly.

Pallbearers will be Drew Strickland, Bryan Anders, Steve Cobbs, Wesley Cobbs, Joshua Cobbs, Randy Hutchinson.
