Frances Lewis Warbington

A visitation will be held at Memory Chapel Funeral Home at 1:00 pm, followed by a graveside service, which will be held on March 14, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Memory Hill Gardens, officiated by Bro. Gene Dockery, followed by the burial.

Frances Lewis Warbington is preceded in death by her father, William Farris Lewis; her mother, Beatrice Lewis; her daughter, Francine Canterberry; and her siblings, James Daniel Lewis, Olin F. Lewis (Buddy), and Mary Jean Sellers.

Frances Lewis Warbington is survived by her grandchildren, Mandy Hester (Clint) of Lakeview, AL, Heather Sanders (Steve) of Northport, AL, and Austin Canterberry (Meredith) of Apex, NC; and her great-grandchildren, Avi Sanders of Northport, AL, Theryn Hester of Lakeview, AL, and Penny and Samuel Canterberry of Apex, NC.

Frances Lewis Warbington was married in 1952 and was married for 61 years. She had one daughter. Frances Lewis Warbington worked at Partlow and then the VA until her retirement. She had three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Frances Lewis Warbington loved traveling, listening to music, and going to yard sales. She was fantastic at embroidering. Frances Lewis Warbington enjoyed playing cards and visiting with friends and family.

Serving as pallbearers will be Steve Sanders, Clint Hester, Ricky Skelton, and Stan Smith.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be ACG Hospice and plantation Manor Staff.
