Mary Katherine, Marilyn had a mutual friend call and tell me your husband had died I am so sorry and my thought and prayers go out to you. I wish I had the words to take the hurt away. I stil think of you and the times we had at Livingston and Duboise Terrace. LET God wrap you in His love and carry you while you walk through this valley of grief

We are so saddened and will miss Fred as a true friend and man of God. His Jail Ministry was a testament of his beliefs and he will be missed but not forgotten. Dear family and friends surviving Fred, we all are selfishly saddened by Fred's departure.  We miss him!  However, the emptiness is always tempered when our departed family and friends are a part of the Family of God in Christ Jesus.  That's certainly the case with Fred.  No question, Tuesday evenings at the Tuscaloosa County Jail will never be the same.  However, Fred got to see the Savior face to face this week; the One Whom he had been talking about Tuesday evening at the Jail.  Wow!  What a week!  Praise God for another victory.   Bob Henderson

What a gentle soul.  Always a gentleman, always with a word of encouragement. Even the horses loved you. You will be sorely missed.  So hard to believe you are gone.  Our love and deepest sympathy to the  family.

Mr. Fred was such a nice man. His love for God was unstoppable!! I miss how he would make fun of me for being on Facebook!! It's just really heartbreaking!! Some of my friends just passed all at the same time and now you!! God must be forming one heck of a army!!

Dear Fred's family. I was with Fred Tuesday night. We went into a jail cell together. Fred and I bonded as Christians a few years ago and I admired him so much. I loved to go in with him and share our faith. We always fed off each other. And we did Tuesday night also. He was filled with the love of God, and the men heard that message loud and clear. Your father, husband, father-in-law was a wonderful Christian and a sweet man, and I shall miss him. Larry Clayton

One of the finest, Godly men I have ever known.  He has been faithful to the Lord and now he has reached his reward.  Love this man so much and I will miss him, but I know he is where he has been waiting to go.  My prayers are with Mary Kathryn and all the family.
