Kena as she was affectionately known  was my Delta line sister.The 15 of us were very close.We loved "Kena",dearly. From 1970 when we all first met at Stillman College 54 yrs ago in September we became friends. She is stilled loved and truly missed by all. She had a beautiful spirit  and a loving heart of kindness . May you rest in peace and joy in the arms of our Savior Jesus Christ ,until we meet again. Kena ,I miss your smiling face and that beautiful voice so much.  I really missed you at our 50th Superfine15 Delta Reunion in September.  I know you were looking down on us,and smiling. I love you,and I know you are in the best hands,the Lord's and singing in that Heavenly Choir. Rest peacefully my friend. Your line Sister "San" from Mobile.❤

Ms. Moss, a very beautiful and sweet lady. I only new her for a short time, but I looked forward to the 2 hours every Thursday.  Ms. Moss will be greatly missed.

My  love and condolences to the Mc Mullens family.  The memories of our lives being raised in a loving community are forever in my heart.  God's blessing comfort and peace to all in love Gwen and family. 

Kena  was a long time classmate,friend  and Sorority Sister. We shared wonderful memories of class reunions, college, pledging and hanging out together. I was a bridesmaid in her wedding and over the years we kept up with each other.  She always  wrote songs for our reunion and what fun we had trying to learn the words and melody. I will miss my friend and her lovely voice. She is singing with the angels now.






 

You have my Sincere Sympathy.  Glorious was very Kind and Compassionate.  She demonstrated her Love and  Devotion to her family, friends and  community.  I will always remember my Cousin " Kena".  May God grant you Strength and comfort for the days ahead. 

I am so glad that we were together again in 2016 at our 45th year Anniversary  Celebration..  It was such a joyous occasion. We were so happy to be together again.   We took so many pictures and had so much fun reminiscing about the good times we had at Stillman and the shenanigans  we pulled on our Big Sisters  and  each other during our pledge period.  Those were some of the best days of our lives!  The ones of us fromTuscaloosa continued to see each other from time to time and you & I even shared an apartment together for a while.......and my didn’t we have some good times at the parties we hosted and the nights we stayed up late playing cards.....and then our lives took a serious turn and  we decided it was time to settle down.  So we went our separate ways, started our careers, got married, became mothers and now grandmothers....but there was so much in between,  ups & downs;  highs and lows,  but it was all good and shaped us into the strong women we came to be.  We must now part ways until we meet again in the  Omega, Omega  Chapter, farewell my sister, I love you!

My sincerest condolences to Kena’s  family.  She was a sweet, kind and talented lady.  She had a melodious , “Glorious “, resounding voice.  Rest now, my friend and my Soror.

My prayers and condolences for the family of my dear  college classmate and sorority sister.  I can echo what many have already said.  " Kena" as we lovingly knew her, was a very kind, friendly, even spirited sister. She didn't mind piling as many of us as would fit in her volkswagon beetle and scurrying off to whatever adventure we had dreamed up.  REST WELL MY DELTA SISTER, REST WELL.

My deepest sympathies to the McMullen and Moss families. Glorious, my lifelong friend will be missed.  I will hold close the memories of  our recent conversations following Bert’s passing.  In all your pains, you kept me laughing. Rest well Kena; no more pain sweet friend.

So sorry to hear about Glorius passing. Stillman college classmate.  She was a wonderful person .prayers go out to the family.
