Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Memory Hill Gardens with Rev. Alan Head and Rev. Penny Ford officiating, and Heritage Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider directing.
Inez was preceded in death by her Parents; Ralph & Lennie Mae Sims, Brother, Sonny Sims, Husband, Larry Shirley, and Grandson, Paul Hinson Jr..
Inez is survived by her Daughter; Glenda Hinson (Andy) of Tuscaloosa; her Son; Duane Johnson (Nara) of Silas, her Sister; Rosalind Hall (Rencher) of Greensboro, her Grandchildren; Angie Pate, Lesley Anglin, Scott Johnson, Tyler Johnson and Callan Hinson. Her Great-Grandchildren; Hugh Pate, Haeden Pate, Harrison Pate, Kelbi Johnson, Hartley Johnson, Brooks Johnson and Charley Anglin. Step children; Lawrence Shirley Jr (Nita) and Dr Pam Shirley (Dr Peter Wong). Step grandchild Christopher Shirley (Mira).

Inez was a lifelong cosmetologist in Tuscaloosa owning her own business “Beauty Manor” for years. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She loved spending time with family especially fishing! Her Grandchildren and her Great-grands were the light of her life.
Pallbearers will be Andy Hinson, Scott Johnson, Tyler Johnson, Hugh Pate, Haeden Pate, and Harrison Pate.
Honorary pallbearers will be Earnestine Johnson, Employees and Staff of The Landings of Northport, and Staff of Emcompass Hospice.
