On March 27, 2025, Jimmy L. Baxley of Tuscaloosa, AL, formerly from Dothan, AL. passed away peacefully in his home. He was 92. Jimmy was born January 4, 1933, to Curtis and Thelma Baxley. He was one of four children. He married Betty in August 1958 and they were married 66 years. They had 2 sons. (Wesley and the late Mart Baxley) Jimmy was part-owner of Baxley Blowpipe in Dothan, where he worked 40 years. He had 5 grandchildren: Ashley Robertson (Trey) Jessica B. Collins and Meredeth Hicks (Chad) Dylan and John Baxley. He also had 6 great-grandchildren: Kenzee, Harlee, and Saydee Robertson; Nate Collins, Natalea and Brinlea Hicks. He is survived by his wife Betty, son Wesley, daughter-in-law Cindy Baxley Holcomb, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
