Joe Mickey Pearson

Joe Mickey Pearson, age 61, of Tuscaloosa, died May 22, 2013, at home. Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Elma Pearson; his brother, Wade Pearson; his grandparents, Jimmy and Madeline Pearson and Bud and Maude Robertson; and his nephew, Heath Brown.

Survivors include his sisters, Dot Boland and Margaret Brown (Riley) of Tuscaloosa; his brothers, Mike Pearson (Shelby) of Duncanville and Anthony Pearson (Carol) of Rogers, Ark.; his aunt, Faye Glennie of Northport; and his uncle, Billy Pearson of Hemet, Calif.

Mickey was born August 14, 1951, in Gordo, Alabama, to Marshall and Elma Pearson, and was followed in birth by his twin brother Mikey. Mickey grew up in Tuscaloosa. He was employed by Hinton Lumber Co. for many years and most recently worked at Brown's Greenhouses. Mickey was a friend to many and was loved by all. He was an Alabama fan and loved to laugh. He will be missed and loved.

Pallbearers will be Alan Roberts, Dennis Ray Robertson, Larry Robertson, Micheal Robertson, Randy Pearson, Johnathon Lewis, Billy Latham, Jeremia Tecpile, and Justin Toxey.

Honorary pallbearers are Brown's Nursery, Hinton Lumber Co., Lucky Dollar, friends and neighbors of Holt community and Crescent Ridge Road, special friend Tammy Toxey, and the Cooper family
