Keith is missed but also thought of on a daily basis. I was his housekeeper but more importantly a friend. He truly inspired me and my 16 grandson. He was like me , we loved our fur babies.I remember the last days together even though he was very sick he wanted to have a family Thanksgiving. We tried, but we will have to wait for the feast when our time here on earth is done. You were a good man and friend to us. Thank you

Such a sad day! Dr. Chapman was the reason that I decided to major in special education! He leaves behind a legacy!

My heart goes out to the family.  Mr. Chapman was my teacher at UA.  12 years ago he sent me to Camp ASCCA one weekend and lit my fire for children for special needs.  That summer I went back to Camp and met my future husband (who had recovered from a TBI and was there helping campers).  I know God was with Keith in everything he did and I am so thankful our lives crossed paths! He is missed dearly.

Keith was the best friend I ever had. I still hear his laughter, see his smile, and can even him hear me call my name. I loved him so much. His loss will be with me forever.

My memories of Keith began at Miss Julia's Playschool and we stayed in touch through college and intermitantly through the years. Keith did wonderful work at the University and was I'm sure an inspiration to all who worked with and learned from him. 
I will miss his wonderful sense of humor and am saddened that he left us way too soon.

Keith was a graduate of Charles Henderson High School in Troy AL.  We were a small class of 129 students.  Keith was smart, funny, a great dancer and fun to hang out with.  We had some really good teenage years.  Keith will be missed by many.  RIP friend.  You were thought of often.

Keith was a wonderful man. What a pleasure and a privilege it was to have known him. Such a good will ambassador. No doubt, he will be missed by countless students, friends, colleagues, and family members.
